A business man is now lamenting his r • precipitate haste in crossing the street • before looking to see whether the way : was clear. ? So intent was he on filling his pipe l that he was brushed aside by a passing - lorry and, to his dismay, he dropped his tobacco, which was irretrievably l crushed by the back wheels. The lorry driver at first was inclined : to be abusive, but when he learnt that it was a packet of Bears’ Tobacco that • had been lost he was very sympathetic. > for, being a Bears’ smoker, he knew ; what a delicious Virginian blend it is.
