CHURCH PEOPLE URGED TO SUPPORT IDEALS OF DOMINION CONFERENCE Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 26 The spirit and purpose of the Industrial Conference convened by* the Prime Minister were commended in a report of the Sessional Committee on Social Service submitted to the Anglican Synod this morning. The report said that it was a welcome sign of the growing disposition on all sides to seek for industrial peace. The committee desired to call attention to the movement and to urge all church people to carry out its ideals. Archdeacon Taylor (Christchurch) gave notice to move: “ That the Sy*nod rejoices at the growing disposition to seek industrial peace through the coming together in conference of employers and employed, and urges people to study the repoort of the conference and seek to import into all industrial relationships the spirit and ideals expressed by the conference.”
