Though .satisfied *with the results of Sunday’s ballot, the Moderates insist that final judgment should not be based on it. It is possible that there will be combinations beetween the Leftists, who constitute the unknown factor. There are great activities at present jn all groups. The newspaper “ Ilumanite ” states that the total number of votes cast for Communists on April 21 were 1,068,680, compared with 875,812 in 1924. M. Briand continues ill. A specialist has been summoned. —Australian Press Association.
