ODDFELLOWS ARRANGE CAMPAIGN SCHEME.

(Special to the “ Star.”) HASTINGS, April 18. The Manchester Unity of Oddfellows’ Conference was continued this morning, when amendments to the rules were considered. The report from a committee appointed by' conference to consider the system of propaganda recommended that, as the development of internal enthusiasm on the right lines would achieve the best results, districts wouid be well advised to .encourage competitive effort in and about, the ledges. The socicl>'’s office would prepare propaganda material for distribution to lodges, and the society would allocate £SOO from the funeral fund surplus for propaganda. The recommendations were adopted. Later the deputies visited Napier, where a civic reception was tendered by the Mayor.
