FANCY DRESS DANCE.
Owing to the kindness of Miss Muir, lady superintendent of the Christchurch Hospital, a delightful fancy dress dance was recently held in the Nurses’ Home. Prizes were distributed for the best dresses. The winners were: —M. Blondell (Chinaman) and B. Harris (Hawaiian). The lucky spot waltz was won by A. Whining and A. Schrouder. After a very enjoyable evening a dainty supper was served. The table was beautifully decorated in blue and pink. The arrangements were in the hands of Misses N. Tindall and H. Small.
