A LARGE motor-car plunged into the harbour early this morning. H. Reynolds, of Manly, who was rescued, made conflicting statements, indicating that a man and a ■woman, who were passengers, sank with the car in seventeen feet of water, but the police have been unable to trace the bodies, although the headlights of the car remained alight a long time after sinking, lighting up the water and the harbour bed. The search is continuing. Reynolds is in a had way.—Australian Press Association.
