MISSING PARTY TURNS UP SAFE.
BECAME SEPARATED FROM COMPANION. CONTINUED FROM FRONT PAGE. Word was received this afternoon that Dr L. D. Burnett and Messrs C. Bassett and E. 11. Buckridge. who went to the assistance of Andrew Neil Henderson, and were supposed, to be lost in the ranges, had made their way out to Lees Valley, and at two o’clock were within a mile or so of Mr T. P. Duckworth’s house. The}* were reported to be all well and had not suffered from shortage of provisions, Mr Duckworth having taken them out a supply of food on Tuesday. The reason they did not make for Lees Valley yesterday was that Mr K. Henderson, who was one of the same party, got separated from them, and they had spent the day searching for him. Mr Henderson, however, had reached the camp where the accident occurred and had gone with another party to bury the body. Dr Burnett and his two companions did not find the camp, and were not aware of the young man’s death till this morning.
