MAN FOUND DEAD IN HOTEL YARD.

Per Press Association. HOKITIKA, March 7. William Creaghan, aged about seventy, was found dead in a yard in the Masonic Hotel last night shortly after having tea. He was apparently in his usual health. He came from Westport to attend the Grey jubilee, arriving at on Saturday evening. He was a widower. At the inquest, medical evidence was to the effect that death was caused by asphyxiation caused through particles of food getting into the windpipe while vomiting A verdict was returned in accordance with the medical evidence.
