Students who hold partial passes in matriculation may sit next December for the completion of the examination. That will be their final opportunity. It was stated at the New Zealand University Council meeting to-day that the impression was abroad that last December was the final chance. The Chancellor (Professor J. Macmillan Brown) made it clear that candidates had another opportunity this year.
