A quarrel between two unemployed seamen in a coal trimmer's disused hut at Newcastle ended in the fatal stabbing of William Patrick Sullivan. Immediately after the affray, his opponent rushed out and disappeared. Later Frank Edwards gave himself up to the police. Tie'has been charged with murder.
