M’KAY FOUND GUILTY BY MIXED JURY. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 16, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, December 15. A jury, including six women, rejected the defence plea of insanity in the case in which James M’Kay was charged with the murder of his mother. He -was sentenced to death. The prosecution proved that he was an only son and stood to benefit to the extent of £IOO on his mother’s death. The dismembered body of a woman, subsequently identified as that of Mrs Arbuckle, mother of James M’Kay, was found Abating in the Clyde at Glasgow. M’Kay w r as subsequently arrested and charged with the murder.
