Market quotations are: Wheat has an easier tendency at 5s 5d to 5s Bid a bushel. Flour—£l3 to £13.10s a ton. Bran—£6 a ton. Pollard —£7 10s a ton. Oats—4s to 4s 3d a bushel. Barley—ss 3d to 5s 9d a bushel; Cape (ma.lting), 4s 3d to 4s 6d a bushel. Potatoes —£4 5s to £5 a ton. Onions —£5 a ton. AUCTION SALE. Messrs H. G. Livingstone and Co. held a successful clearing sale on account of Mrs J. Marshall, Poynder Avenue, on Wednesday. The well-known pony Fantail was sold to Miss I. Rutherford for £46. A large number of lots were offered, and among the prices realised were the following:—Chesterfield £7 10s. carpet £IG, oak sideboard £lO 10s, carpet £ls IBs, duchesses £4 and £8 10s. oak bed and wire mattress £6, carpets £7 and £3 15s, saddle £5 10s, vacuum cleaner £7 10s, oak. gateleg table £4 15s. four oak high-back chairs £5 4s, oak settee in Jeaiher £4 10s.
