YOUNG MAN WHO ADMITTED THEFTS. “ He’ll have to be brought up witli p. round turn,” said Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., to-day in remanding Ronald Rossmore Walker, aged 19, who admitted two charges of theft. Walker was charged with (1) stealing goods valued at £2, the property of the Ellesmere and Greenpark Dairy Company; (2) stealing goods valued at 17s 6d, the property of Alexander Stiothers. Chief-detective Lewis said that accused had been working for t.Re Ellesmere and Greenpark Dairy Company and had stolen a pair of side-car curtains and taken them home to his brother. lie had later visited the factory again and stolen other articles in company with a boy, who would be dealt with at the Juvenile Court. All the goods had been recovered with the exception of a wallet. “ What have you got to sav for vourself? asked the Magistrate. “ I didn’t take the wallet.” “Did the other l?d take it?"—“I don’t think so.” “You knew you were doing wrong?” Accused was remanded till Monday to , enable the Probation Officer to report.
