DELEGATE MAY USE DISCRETION AT GENEVA. By Telegraph.-—Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.2J. Cable Association. (Received December 8. 10.15 a.m.) LONDON. December 7. In the House of Commons, arising from President Coolidgs's suggestion that Anglo-American viewpoints were in accord before the Geneva Confer* ence, Mr G. ■'Locker-Lampson told Viscount Sandow that there were no conferences before the meeting, while those held during the Conference were informal and private, and were not recorded. Commander Kenworthy: Will the Admira’ty’s pr. pared scheme for a reduction be submitted to the. preliminary Commission? Mr Locker-Lampson: The Government will not lose any opportunity for furthering limitation. The British representative has discretion to bring down the proposals at the February meeting if it is propitious. Colonel Howard-Bury: Have not we reduced more than anybody else, and, in view of increases elsewhere, will you see that there are no- other reductions ? Mr Lccker-Lampson: T cannot answer that.
