BUCKETT HAD TO BATTLE AGAINST SLEEP THIS MORNING.

When a reporter called at the Choral Hall this morning to see Charles Buckett. who is attempting to break the world's club-swinging record, he found him still going strong and confident of at least breaking the New Zealand record at two o'clock. “ I’m feeling good, and had a comfortable night, but this morning I had a hard battle against sleep,” said Mr Buckett. In reply to a question, he said that his diet consisted of beef tea, eggs and milk, and boiled fish. If Buckett can last out till 11 pm. to-night he will break the worlds record.
