Councillor Elizabeth R. M’Combs ha* given notice to move at the next meeting of the City Council as follows: “In view of the fact that excavations have revealed a dangerous quantity of petrol in water under .the foundations of a building being erected eighty feet from a petrol tank, the council’s dangerous goods inspector be instructed that in future he must immediately order the closing of any tank or petrol service pipe found to be leaking, until such time as they are repaired to his satisfaction.”
