GOSSIP FROM THE QUEEN CITY.

(Special to the “Star.") AUCKLAND, July 15. Collision. A motor accident occurred at W hau Creek bridge at 7.30 this morning. A motor van owned and driven by Joseph Perry proceeding to the city from New Lynn with four private pas sengers, was involved in a head-on collision in which the radiators were badly smashed and glass scattered freely. Perry's son and daughter and J. 11. Whitehouse were admitted to hospital, but were not seriously injured. ___
