£3OOO STOLEN IN JEWELLERY.

MANAGERESS’ KEYS TAKEN FROM HOME AND SHOP ENTERED. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright A us. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received June 24, 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, June 24. The most daringly planned and executed robbery took place at Ilansons London Watch Shop, in the centre of the city, which at the time was brilliantly lighted. Jewellery was taken valued at £3OOO. The manageress left the shop as usual securely locked at 5.30 in the evening. She took the keys home and placed them on a table. Half an hour later she discovered that they had mysteriously disappeared. She telephoned the police, who rushed to Hanson’s only to find that the thieves had preceded them and got away with a selection of the most valuable jewellery.
