WET WEATHER BREAKS, AFTER WEEK OF RAIN.

Heavy rain, broken only bv a gleam of sunlight yesterday has been, so much a feature of the weather lately, that signs of a definite clearance this morning came somewhat unexpectedly. For four days in succession, the morning has broken wet and misty; but to-day a break in the clouds appeared, and the sun shone through steadily. There was still a prospect of further showers, though steady rain did not fall again.
