GLASS PANEL IN DOOR BROKEN.

A glass panel in the premises of Mr Arthur Smale, tobacconist, Ferry Road, was broken last evening. At first it was suspected that the break was due to burglars, but later investigations suggested that a stone flying from a motor-car "wheel was the probable cause.
