ENGLISH COUNTY CRICKET RESULTS.
By Telegraph.—Press Assn. —Copyright A.P.A. and Sydney “Sun” Cables. LONDON, June 21. The county cricket matches resulted as follow; Yorkshire, first innings, SI. Haig took seven wickets for 33 runs and Durston three for 27. Second innings, 262 (Kilner 53). Lee took three wickets for 2 runs. Middlesex, first innings, 178 (Lee 52). Macaulay took five wickets for 47 runs. Second innings, 169 for four wickets (Hendren not out GS). Middlesex won by six wickets.
Oxford, first innings, 226 (R. Butter ivorth 110). Second innings, 287 for 'our wickets, declared (A. Cranley 150 ind Cazalet 06). Surrey, first innings. JOG (Ducat 50 and Jardine 53). Second linings, 21 for one wicket. The match was drawn owing to rain.
Essex, first innings, 260 (Russell 127 and Claude Ashton S 6). Utley took six wickets for 71 runs. Second innings, 174 (Russell GO). Kennedy took five wickets for 57 runs. Hampshire, first innings, 24S (Mead 79). Second innings, 127. Nicholas took nine wickets for 59 runs. Essex won by 59 runs.
Kent, first innings, 441 (Chapman 260 and Legge 101). Tydesley took five wickets for 91 runs. Second innings, 239 for three jivickets (Ashdown not out 86 and Evans 143). Lancashire, first innings, 329 (Hallows 82 and Ekersley not out 73). Second innings, 115 for"two wickets (Hallows not out 57). Kent won on the first innings. Playing for Gloucestershire against Northamptonshire, Mills took five wickets for 41 runs. Parker, in the first innings, took five for 50, and in the second 9 for 46. Gloucestershire won. Playing for Sussex against Warwickshire, Bowley made 176. Sussex won. Playing for Somersetshire against Derbyshire, White took eight wickets for 62 runs. Derbyshire won. Playing for Glamorganshire against Worcestershire, Mercer took six wickets for 49 runs and Ryan took five for 42. Playing for Worcestershire, Root took fi-Y’e wickets for 4o runs. Glamorganshire won. Playing for Leicestershire against Nottinghamshire, Astill made 121 not out. Playing for Nottinghamshire, Larwood took six wickets for 71 runs. Nottinghamshire won.
