MR GROUNDS GIVEN GREAT OVATION AT DAIRY CONFERENCE.
Per Press Association. ROTORUA, June 23. At the dairy conference this morning Mr W. Grounds gave an address in defence of the Control Board’s po--I,CThc speaker, on rising, received a great ovation, all sections joining in. His speech was a repetition of the board’s past policy, and its modifications, extensively fortified by statistics. A remarkable personal tribute was criven at the close of the speech, all rising and singing "For lies a JollyGood Fellow.” 3'he afternoon programme will consist of further addresses by Messrs Kennedy and Singleton.
