Mr Cosgrave has definitely rejected the idea of a coalition. lie and his Ministers are prepared to hand over control, but a change of Government is unlikely, because the other parties are not displaying any anxiety to take office. Among the Labour members, the prospect of forming a Government is not seriously considered. The Farmers’ Party Congress also decided against a coalition, and reaffirmed a continuance of independence. It pledged itself to support any Government maintaining law, order and stability. Organised parties of Fianna Fail supporters are preparing for Thursday’s demonstration, inaugurating Mr de Valera's anti-oath campaign.
