PARIS, April 26. For the first time on record the French Government has honoured a clown, the Minister of Public Instruction having just conferred on Coco, of the Cirque de Paris, the Palmes Academique. a decoration awarded to professors, literary, artistic and scientific personages. Everv Parisian and every visitor to Paris knows Coco, now forty-five years . of age, who began his career at the age of nine.
