To-day’s arrivals at Warner’s Hotel include; Messrs J. Snell (Wellington). C. L. H. Drummond Hay (Fiji), and R. W. Schultz (Sydney). Guests at the United Service include: Frank F. Foord (Auckland), L. W. Gilbert (Wellington), W. M’Donald (Wellington), J. IT Musson (Wellington), A. R. Cox (Sydney), A. Nisbet Smith (Wanganui), C. E. Blayney (Wellington), D. Robertson (Wellington), and Ernest Fay (Wellington). Mr John C. Young (Palmerston North) is staying at the Clarendon Hotel. Detective-Sergeant J. Bi< kerdike. who was recently transferred from Christchurch to Auckland, is on a visit to Christchurch. Mr A. Rose, president of the Canterbury Licensed Victuallers’ Association, left for Wellington last ev*ening to attend a meeting of the New Zealand Council of the Licensed Victuallers' Association.
