WEDDINGS.

BULL—LOUISSON. Shimmering silver, pink and white, combined to give a wonderful effect in St Aidan’s Church, Auckland, on Wednesday afternoon, at 2.30, when the bride was Miss Joan Melville Louisson, only daughter of Mr and Mrs M. M. Louisson, Remuera Road, and the bridegroom was Mr Harold M’Millan Bull, son of Mr Harold Bull. The church was beautifully decorated by the bride’s girl friends, with large posies of pink and white cactus dahlias. The guests’ pews were tied with ribbons of the same colour. The Rev Mr Seaton officiated. Wonderful silver fashioned the bride’s exquisite French frock. Over pale pink tulle was an overdress of white satin chenille, forming novel stripes, each stripe being outlined on both sides with minute silver sequins, joined at the knees with a handsome border of large silver flowers, embroidered in fine pearls and silver bugle beads. A wide sash of silver lame formed a. bow at the back. The court train, which hung from the shoulders, was of silver lame covered with shirred silk tulle, bordered with silver shamrocks. Wristlets of orange blossom were worn, and small bunches of the same flowers were strewn over the train, fastened with silver ribbons. The whole was lined with pale pink tulle. A simple white shirred veil of tulle fell to the knees. It was held by a coronet of silver leaves and orange blossom. Dainty frocks of pale pink silk georgette, with pink tulle, Dutch caps, rose petals and silver leaves, forming coronets were worn by the four bridesmaids. They were Misses Marjorie Yaile, Leslie M’Crae Peacocke, Nancy Col beck, and Nancy Rogers. Two petite flower girls, and two pages were Sydney Fisher, Patsy Robertson, and Masters Paddy and Peter Bull. The little girls wore pink silk mariette, with silver wreaths, and the pages were m pink satin court suits. The bride and her attendants carried magnificent pink and white bouquets. Mr Keith Anderson -was best man. The groomsmen's duties falling to Messrs Neil Louisson, Fred Gordon and Dr Ludbrooke. Ihe mother ot the bride wore a Pans gown ot beige carreau satin, and a gold tissue hat, and she carried a beautiful bouquet. Mrs H. Bull, the bridegroom’s mother, wore a dune lace frock and hat to match. Mrs C. C. M'Millon (grandmother of bridegroom) was in panne velvet, with mole fur cape and hat. After the ceremony the guests adiourned to the beautiful home of Mr and Mrs M. M. Louisson where the wedding reception was held, the house and tables being magnificently decorated in pink roses and cactus dahlias.
