“Alar” Readers Choose Semi-Finalists VOTING COMMENCES TO-DAY Voting will extend over the next e.ght va esks for the cho’ce of Eight semi-finalists from the Competitors whose pictures have appeared, or will appear, in the “STAR ’ during the course of the Competition. The girl who heads the poll each week will be a semi-finalist and will be in the final selection. Friends and supporters of the candidates should get busy frem the beginning and see that their votes are recorded. No vote will be counted unless the coupon from the “SIAR * is used, but voters may send in as many coupons as they please. Forward coupons to Manager, Film Star Competition, “STAR” Office, Christchurch.
