PENNY A UNIT.
ELECTRIC COOKING CHEAPER. Home cares become home joys when housewives cook with Electric Ranges and now that the rate has been reduced to one penny a unit for domestic cooking and heating it means a cost of only from 6d to 8d per head per week to cook by electricity for the family. The joys of the possessor of an Electric Range are quite unknown to those without one. Fancy putting the joint on in the morning and then by regulating the temperature you can go out for the whole day knowing that when you return at six the meat will be cooked to perfection. .Moreover the kitchen will be quite free from cooking odours whilst all the richness and vitamines of the joint will be retained in a manner unheard of with an ordinary oven. Demonstrations of electric cooking are held at the Municipal Electricity Department's Showrooms, corner Manchester and Armagh Streets, on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. till 11.30 a.m. and on Thursday afternoons from 2.30 p.m. till 4 p.m. For private instruction consult the demonstrator at these classes. 4775
