INQUEST SHOWS DRIVER DID NOT FOLLOW USUAL TRACK. Per Press Association. GISBORNE. February 28. An inquest was opened at Tokomaru Bar concerning: the death of Mr A. B. Wheat, superintendent for the Taranaki oilfields. Evidence showed that Wheat’s car was travelling about fifty yards to the seaward side of the usual track and was overturned at a depression caused bv the sea wall carrying away, the car rolling over the retaining wall on to the rocks on the beach below. Wheat, was pinned down, one door resting on his chest and the other on his legs His companion also was imprisoned beneath the car*and sustained cuts, bruises and severe shock. The
