PALMERSTON X.. February 27. In what was considered the best fight over seen in the Dominion Jamito gained the decision over Jansen in a fifteen rounds contest on Saturday night. A feature of the contest was the manner in which Jamito took terrific right punches on the chin and still remained on his feet. Jansen scored with clean, direct punches, while Jamito's swinging punches with the inside of the glove were very frequent throughout each round.
