HENRY SANTREY AND HIS ORCHESTRA NOW AT THEATRE ROYAL.
J.C.W. VAUDEVILLE COY. HAS BRIGHT PROGRAMME. The large audiences attending the Theatre Royal are greeting Henry Santrey and his clever orchestra , with the utmost enthusiasm. From jazz of the most pronounced type to sentimental melodies, these young instrumentalists range in their selections. There are no dull moments—something doing all the time. Santrey himself is not only a conductor, but is also a singer with a good voice, and gives many vocal items in the course of his concert. The first part of the programme is given by artists selected from Williamson’s Tivoli Theatres, and is bright and excellent. After a thrilling aerial opening by the Stavannys, items are given by Estelle Fratus, Jean Barrios, Yost and Clady.
