Per Press Association THAMES, February 2G. The Thames Harbour Board’s statement on the progress of the works for which £60.000 was raised, shows that £51,609 has been spent. The works arc . progressing well. The engineer’s state- i merit showed that the works will be j completed within his estimate. It will I be necessary to raise a further £6OOO as allowed bv the Art for a railway siding and a shoreward wharf approach which were not in the original scheme. The board's general accounts show over £BOOO more than was estimated last June. The finances are in a very prosperous condition.
