LONGS FOR CAROL; COULD BE HAPPY IF HE CAME BACK.
MME. LAMBRINO SAYS SHE DOES NOT HATE. By Telegraph. — Preaa Aaan. —Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received Februarv 23. 11.50 a.m.) PARIS. February 22. Madame Zizi Lambrino, interviewed regarding Carol’s meeting with his son at Rapailo says: “I never dream of being Queen. I only ask that our boy. Mircea, grows tip happy with his father to guide hint.” Theatres, cinemas and dressmakers’ shops in Paris have no attraction for Mme. Lambrino, who spends her days alone, or in the company of Mircea, who is at a French boys’ school. She has hundreds of Carol’s love letters and threatens to use them, but denies hatred against Carol, or that she is desirous of revenge. “I would not be doing a mother’s duty if I did not uphold Mircea’s rights,” she saj's. “It is terrible to live 300 yards from Carol and never to be able to talk. If Carol came back to-morrow we could be happy again.”
