A train of sixteen carriage--, tiiiiy loaded, and drawn by two engines, left stations on the north line this morning for Otira. The train was arranged by the North Canterbury FrieVidly Societies for their annual picnic, and 850 passengers were carried. The weather at Otira was beautiful.
