SLOW PAYMENT OF THE CITY’S RATES.
10 PER CENT PENALTY TO BE ADDED ON MARCH 4. The ratepayers of the city of Christchurch have still to find the hugs sum of £173,881 3s, this being the amount outstanding out of a total levy of £301.284 18s 7d. The 10 per cent penalty will be added on al! rates unpaid after 4 p.m , March 4. thirteen days hence.
