FIELDING BUTCHERS DEMAND EXTRA RATE.
WELLINGTON, February 18. At Feilding there was slight trouble at the freezing works yesterday, when the old union butchers refused to kill ram lambs unless paid extra rates. They ceased work, but volunteer butchers carried on. It is believed that the matter wall be adjusted on Monday.
