TYPOGRAPHICAL UNION TO HOLD BALLOT ON THE QUESTION. (Special to the “ Star.”) AUCKLAND, January 25. At. the annual meeting of the Typographical Union a circular was received from the Trades and Labour Council asking whether the union was in favour of the council merging with the Alliance of Labour. After Messrs A. Rosser ami H. Campbell had addressed the meeting in support, it was resolved to take a ballot on the question.
