WILL DEVELOP WORK OF MISSION IN FIJI. (Special to the “Star.’’) AUCKLAND, January 25. The Suva correspondent of the “Star” reports that, a somewhat important development in Fijian mission work has just taken place. The Methodists have completed the purchase of the wellknown Navusa estate on the Rewa River, comprising 860 acres, including 550 acres of line flat land, which be longed to Mr 11. M. Scott., K.C., and Mrs A. Barker. The price runs into over £IO.OOO. The mission had a lease of the property. and has established a farm for the agricultural training of native and Indian students. Good progress already has been made in the planting of food stuffs in connection with which interesting experiments are about to be undertaken by the Government in cooperation with the mission.
