MAN FOUND DEAD; GAS TUBE IN MOUTH
(Special to the “Star.”) HOKITIKA, January 24. Henry Shand, a returned soldier engaged in business in Revel! Street as a cycle maker and dealer, was found dead in his shop this afternoon with a gas tube in his mouth and the gas turned on. Deceased, who was thirtyfive years of age, was a married man. His wife resides jn Christchurch.
