BURGLARS BREAK THEATRE SAFE.

DOOR WAS BLOWN OFF, BUT THEY DIDN’T GET ALL THE MONEY. (Special to the “Star”) WELLINGTON. January 24. At four o’clock this morning the safe in the office of the King George Theatre, Lower Ilutt, was blown open and some of the contents were stolen. A charge of explosive was used, blowing the door clean off. The sound was heard and the burglars were disturbed bv a person who approached to investigate. They decamped with only a small portion of the fairly large sum the safe contained.
