SHIPPING- TELEGRAMS. Per Press Association. . NEW PLYMOUTH. January 24. Arrived—At 4 a.m., Port Bowen, from Lyttelton. Verbania arrived at Lyttelton this morning from Westport, where the vessel took in bunkers. The Verbania made the trip from London to New York under the Cunard Steam Ship Co.. her owners. She was chartered at New York by the Commonwealth and Dominion Line to load for Australian ports. On discharging in Australia the vessel was chartered to make a trip to Nauru, and a further voyage to Ocean Island, where she loaded phosphate for Australia. Prior to coming across to New Zealand the vessel loaded 2000 tons of wheat at Melbourne for London and the Continent. She will load wool at Lyttelton and will complete her loading under charter to Scales and Co.. Wellington, at Wellington, Wanganui and Napier. The Verbania has a gross tonnage of 5021, and is in the command of «a|»tain T. S. M. Pnnloy.
