A train leaves Christchurch 8.10 a.m., picking up at Addington, Hornhy, Templeton, Rolleston, Kirwee, Darfield, Sheffield and Springfield, arriving Otira 12.19 p.m. Lyttelton line passengers will require to travel to Christchurch by the Ferry Train leaving Lyttelton 7.15 a.m. Return train leaves Otira 4.25 p.m. FARES : LYTTELTON 16s, 10s 9d ; CHRISTCHURCH 15s, 10s, and correspondingly reduced from stopping stations. A REVELATION TO TRAMPERS TO SEE IS TO BELIEVE A member of the Railway Department will accompany those Excursionists who walk through the Otira Gorge from Arthur’s Pass. Spend an hour or two in his company, and he will conduct you over one of the finest one-day walks in New Zealand. You can obtain luncheon before you commence your walk at the HOSTEL, ARTHUR’S PASS. Luncheon, Hot Water, and Refreshments may also be obtained at the OTIRA RAILWAY REFRESHMENT ROOMS. Purchase your Tickets and Reserve your Seats at any Railway Station, or at the Central Booking Office, 154 Hereford Street. Only one train will run, restricting the number of Passengers.
