(Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, January IS. Still Tit. To be ablp to walk thirty-five miles at the age of seventy-nine years is a rare accomplishment, yet this is the excursion made frequently by Mr Frederick Taylor, farmer, of Port Charles. At a meeting of creditors yesterday he stated that every time he came to Auckland he walked thirty-five miles from his farm to Coromandel. lie also added that he was still fit for a hard day’s work.
