1000 BATHERS STUNG BY BLUE-BOTTLES ON BONDI BEACH.

Swarms of blue-bottles invaded the surfing beach at -Bondi, driving bathers ashore. Over 1000 people were treated for painful stings in temporary hospitals, established on the beach.
