Time—2min 17 Takaishi won impressively, showing that he is in a class above Chariton over 220 yards. The winners time was 0 4-5 seconds faster than the Australasian record and only 1 2-5 seconds outside the world's record. The High Diving championship resulted: Bassass 1, Tight 2, Coyle 3. 220 Yards Breaststroke championship: Bayldon 1, O’Connor 2, M’Clure 3. Won bv two vards. Time—3min 15 4-ssec.
