According to a message from Tampico, the Mexican Government has refused to give to oil companies which do not recognise the new oil regulations permission to drill wells. The decision has created a sensation and it is learned here that suits have been filed against the Mexican Government by all the American oil companies operating in Mexico, asking for an injunction to prevent the cancellation of the permits to drill granted bV the Mexican ’Government since the beginning of the year.
