A daring burglar}’- was committed at Poipoi on Tuesday evening when the Farmers’ Union Trading Company’s branch was entered by smashing the skylight. Clothing, boots and cigarettes to the value of £SO were taken, but an attempt to open the safe failed. The burglars first attempted to force the door by using a tyre lever.
