The year’s new event in golfing history will be an organised attack on the American championships. The newspaper “The Golf Illustrated,” is raising at least £3OOO for a national fund to finance the tour of at least ten professionals, who, in addition to the championships, will meet the American professional team for the Ryder Cup. Several hundreds have already been subscribed.
