She tills the loading role in " The Tiiic.ky Lady.” Almost half I the action is \i Monte Carlo, whose, architecture, furnishings and surroundings are represented realistically. Those / scenes are full of colour and gaiety. The i whole story has been produced in the (best style of the raramonnt studios. The same care and judgment wer» shown in selecting the players. JNliss Pola Negri, one of the most fat inous movie actresses, has not been seen v to better advantage than in "Good and Naughty,” the story of a girl who masquerades in order to save a man from the wiles of a married woman and from the scandal of the Divorce Court. Miss Negri is a star of the Ache intently flashing type. She is beautiful, charming, original, highly emotional. The pictures, as usual, are supported by an interesting Australian “Gazette,” and by the spice of unadulterated comedy. The Symphony Orchestra plays some of the best pieces in its best style.
