GOOD PROGRAMME AT OPERA HOUSE.
GEORGE STOREY AND COY. HAVE BRIGHT SHOW. An an entertainment, tlie programme offered at the Opera llou.se this week is certain to find favour with the public. It is amusing- and evenly balanced. George Storey and his “Storeyettes” present another chapter of their book of fnn. which Christchurch has had reason to receive well. The sixth chapter is a compound of fun, sketches, dancing - , clowning and singing. The opening is particularly effective, all the company taking part in two spirited songs, "Live, for To-day*’ and “Keep Moving.” “Vaudeville Days” is 3. hilarious burlesque on some of the showy music-hall “stunts.” George Storey, as usual, bears the comedy burden on his own capable shoulders. Kellie Kemp, an attractive soprano, sings excellent songs, and in Mabs Haworth the company lia.i another excellent singer. Den Rich, J.ydia Oarne and Fred Paulastro also do their part in making the show a success.
